But Musicator handles the business of processing raw MIDI data and turning out dots on the page with equal seriousness. Many sequencers which offer a score-writing function (and not all do, of course) tend to treat the latter bit as a peripheral activity - something to dress up the music at the end of the process. Musicator GS for Windows, to give it its full title, is a 16-track sequencer-cum-notation package which is remarkable chiefly for the way it seamlessly integrates the notation with the sequencing. It's a poignant introduction to a piece of software which has a similarly endearing personality. ![]() With them comes a heartfelt message to treat Jo's 'child' with as much love, care and understanding as you would your own.
